Ethiopian Teff Porridge
Ingredients:
- 1 /4 cup Teff grain
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut flakes
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup water
- Sliced fruits for toppings
Instructions
- Bring 1 cup of water to boil.
- Add your rinsed teff grain and stir intermittently. Adjust water as desired
- Cook time is 15 to 20 minutes, stir intermittently to prevent the porridge from sticking to the pot
- Pour the porridge in a bowl, and add toppings as desired. Sweetened coconut flakes changed the game for me!
- Drizzle maple syrup to sweeten as desired
